If you haven’t heard the rumors that have been going around, we’re here to tell you that N Charlotte 4Runner is – potentially – preparing a redesign for the upcoming 2024 Toyota 4Runner. So far, the 2024 Toyota lineup is looking really strong with the new 2024 Grand Highlander and the new redesigns, just like the 2024 Toyota Tacoma – which had a full redesign in the exterior and interior.  Our Toyota of N Charlotte experts has collected what is to be expected. The N Charlotte Toyota 4Runner has been known for being durable, capable, and rugged – while also being comfortable. That’s why it is such an icon for off-roading and on the highway, so it needed a little more love. It is important to mention that the N Charlotte Toyota 4Runner has not been redesigned since 2009. That’s why all the Toyota truck enthusiasts are excited about this rumor and Toyota of N Charlotte is here to give you all the details for the 2024 Toyota 4Runner. 

2024 Toyota 4Runner: What We Know So Far

Below is what we know about the 2024 Toyota 4Runner so far!

• We could see a brand-new hybrid drivetrain. The Hybrid Max powertrain in the 2023 Toyota Crown is a prime example of this new engine with a 2.4L hybrid system that produces 340 horsepower and 400 lb-ft torque.

• We also think that it might have a different engine under the hood. The 2023 Toyota 4Runner has a 4.0-Liter V6 engine. But, we’re seeing Toyota downsize its engines (the Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia went from a V8 to V6). We may see the N Charlotte 2024 Toyota 4Runner move to a 4-cylinder with turbocharged capabilities. Especially, the turbocharged 2.4-Liter inline-four cylinder that’s in the brand-new Lexus NX 350. This N Charlotte car also gets 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft torque.

• Toyota’s production might shift to North America. Usually, the 2024 Toyota 4Runner is made in Japan. But, we’ve been seeing a shift of more and more production moving to North America, so it wouldn’t be too out of the question if they move the production of the 2024 Toyota 4Runner here, too!

• Because this off-roading beast will be getting an upgrade, there will probably be an increase to the MSRP, but it’ll be worth it.

• Also, the interior and exterior will be completely redesigned! We’re thinking it will be similar to the 2024 Toyota Tacoma redesign with more modern styling and new technology.

• While there’s not an actual release date, we are thinking it will be unveiled in 2024, which means later this year! Another super interesting fact about this is that the internet is going wild and Toyota is going to bring back the Toyota Land Cruiser to life sometime next year. Of course, we’re not sure if any of this is actually true, but it could push the 2024 Toyota 4Runner preview back even further.

• However, it’s unlikely that an N Charlotte Toyota EV is in the works for this ride. We still haven’t seen an EV on the Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, or Sequoia, so it’s doubtful that this redesign will have one as well.

If you’ve ever experienced anything like a car fire, or even a car fire itself, you know how scary it can actually be. All the emotions running through you: confusion, worry, panic, anger, relief, stress. How should you react when there’s a fire in your car?

If you ever find yourself stuck in this roadside car emergency, here are the steps you should take.

Step #1: 

Pull over immediately. Find a safe place to park that’s not in the way of oncoming traffic, but make sure that you and your passengers escape the car as quickly as possible.
